\n\n\n\nIf you are hesitant to practice dog training with your dog because they are already an adult,<\/strong> possibly elderly<\/strong>, please note that the use of gentle methods allows for dog training at any age, of the puppy<\/a> to the senior citizen<\/strong>. Many of my clients' dogs are over eight years old and they learn just as well as young puppies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If your dog presents a hearing problem<\/strong>, the work is entirely possible, though a bit longer. This is by using an appropriate method and complementary accessories<\/strong>, like a (harmless) vibrating collar or a lighted clicker. In over 12 years in the profession, I've had the opportunity to train about ten of them with good results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nI also want to point out that, although in a way my role consists of making my clients' daily lives easier, I will refuse any request that is not in the best interest of the animal<\/strong>. Therefore, I prohibit any use of electric collars, choke\/prong collars, or \u00abpet correctors\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
